In my writing sample above you can see that I was writing an information report. This sample shows that I was really good at using the correct structure for an information report and I also used sequential instructions.

In my learning today I feel I was a great self manager because I worked independently.  I was also a very good challenge taker as I found writing this report difficult to understand the structure (but I got there in the end), I also kept focused and didn't distract anyone else.

My awesome writing

My Learning Reflection

Today in writing I created an invitation to my birthday party. I did this very well. I know the correct structure for an invitation and I ensured that I had the date, time, address and what to bring. I also used good adjectives to describe what kind of activities we will be doing.

In my writing today I was a challenge taker because I really was very focused and persevered  to complete my task.  I have been struggling with completing my work and today I was able to finish it.  I feel a real sense of achievement. I was also a good self manager when I worked independently and I was organised (this may be why I completed the task).

In my writing today I wrote a narrative description of what I did at Tree Adventures for my birthday. My writing shows that I can use paragraphs and that I used the correct structure for a narrative piece of writing.

During writing today I was a great challenge taker as I perserved and stayed focused.  I completed my task to the best of my ability and I also was a good self manager as I didn't distract anyone else.

My ANZAC writing

My Learning Reflection

In my writing today I was learning to describe what it may have been like to be a soldier in WWI. My writing shows that I could use descriptive language (adjectives) to create images in the readers mind of the devastation of war. I also used direct speech correctly.

During this work I was a good Challenge Taker because I persisted and completed the task.  I stayed focussed and didn't disrupt and other learners.  I also was a good investigator as I research several sources of information to find out what it was like in the war and think I did a great job at showing this.

During this session Willie demonstrated he was highly capable at navigating our Google Apps for Education platform, easily accessing his Learning Pathway, his blog and various documents in his google drive.  He managed himself well, improving significantly with his focus and collaborated with others to offer help, generate ideas and seek clarification.

My Learning Reflection

Today in writing I was learning to write a science fiction sample. I know that a science fiction sample of writing is make believe. In my sample I have tried to use imagery to create an alien world. I did this by using lots of adjectives.
